Introducing me

Hello there! I am so excited to be introducing who I am and what my blog is about. My name is Charity and I am 21 years young. In the past few years, I graduated highschool, got married to my wonderful husband Samuel and have become a mother. I have my beautiful baby boy Noah and baby #2 is on the way and will be here in March. While in my senior year of highschool I learned that I really enjoy writing. I have wanted a space for quite a while now where I can simply just write, even if no one else reads it. I am so grateful to be a stay at home wife and mother. To be able to keep a home and be with my baby all day is a blessing I don't ever want to take for granted. I can remember all the way back to the fifth grade, when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I responded with either a nurse or a chef. I knew that I wanted to take care of people. I also had the desire to be able to cook delicious meals for my future family. Well I can say today that I am not a nurse or chef by degree, but I am by God's grace and kindness to me. I am so blessed and grateful to care for a home, a husband, and a child. I hope that this space will be of interest to you. I plan on sharing all things food, family, and home related and I look forward to having this outlet to do just that

I am still a first time mom and have only been one for a short while. What am I going to tell anyone when I haven't been at it very long? Well I can simply tell you what I have learned thus far. I've learned that "Time goes by fast" isn't just something everyone says to a new mother. It's the truest statement. Time truly goes by so fast. There is a way to make it feel a little slower though I have learned. In the first few months of my son's life, I rarely put him down. Maybe it was first time motherhood bliss, which I'm sure, but I knew that I didn't want to miss any opportunity to cuddle him a little longer, to allow him to fall sleep on my chest, or nurse as much as he wanted. Sure I had house work that needed to be done. I had laundry that could have b...
